Legal Assistant – Estate Planning / Trusts & Estates
Full-Time | On-Site | Manchester, NH
A busy, well-respected law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to support our Estate Planning and Trusts & Estates practice in Manchester, NH. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and looking to grow their career in the legal field. The role involves both client-facing responsibilities and administrative support for attorneys.
What You’ll Do:

Act as the first point of contact for potential new clients.

Schedule client meetings, manage attorney calendars, and coordinate appointments.

Perform conflict checks and assist with opening and closing client files.

Maintain and update case management databases and tracking systems.

Assemble and finalize estate planning binders for clients.

Draft, proofread, and prepare correspondence to clients, third parties, and the court.
-
Prepare meeting materials for attorneys.

Assist with client billing, invoicing, and payment tracking.

Fulfill prior client requests for copies of documents or files.

Manage incoming and outgoing mail, scanning, and electronic filing.
What We’re Looking For:

1–3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or in a related legal support role (trusts and estates experience preferred).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work well under deadlines.
