Legal Assistant
JOB SUMMARY
We’re on the lookout for a sharp, dependable Legal Assistant to support our client’s high-performing Legal team! In this vital role, you’ll help drive both corporate and national legal operations forward, provide top-notch administrative support, and play a key part in keeping everything running like clockwork.
What You'll Do:
- Tackle a variety of administrative tasks—everything from drafting memos to creating reports and maintaining organized legal files.
- Keep legal and corporate databases up-to-date with precision and confidentiality.
- Support special projects, legal discovery, and document preparation with a sharp eye for detail.
- Help manage national licensing requirements and ensure timely corporate filings.
- Own the legal billing process—overseeing our electronic billing system and compiling budget reports.
- Craft responses for RFPs, RFQs, and other legal communications.
- Conduct basic legal research and partner with internal departments and external counsel.
- Handle sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
What We're Looking For:
- Exceptionally organized and detail-driven; you know how to juggle priorities and still meet every deadline.
- A clear communicator with strong writing and verbal skills.
- A self-starter who’s comfortable working independently and making smart decisions.
- Tech-savvy and confident using tools like Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and other common applications.
- Experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal is a plus—but if you’re a fast learner, we’re ready to train the right person!
