Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate talent acquisition process by finalizing new hires after department managers complete initial recruiting activities
- Set up new employees in ADP payroll system
- Initiate background checks and employment verification processes
- Conduct new employee orientation sessions
- Ensure all onboarding documentation is completed and filed appropriately
- Utilize existing benefits guides and resource materials to respond to employee benefits inquiries
- Direct employees to appropriate benefit resources and specialists when needed
- Support employees with benefits enrollment and changes
- Handle general employee relations matters and inquiries
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures
- Address workplace concerns and conflicts as they arise
- Maintain confidentiality in all employee-related matters
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Support day-to-day HR operations and administrative tasks
- Collaborate with leadership team on urgent HR matters
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience in a director or senior-level role
- Strong experience with ADP payroll and HRIS systems (preferred)
- Solid understanding of federal and state employment laws
- Experience with employee relations and conflict resolution
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
