HR Director

JOB SUMMARY
Seeking an HR Director! 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate talent acquisition process by finalizing new hires after department managers complete initial recruiting activities
  • Set up new employees in ADP payroll system
  • Initiate background checks and employment verification processes
  • Conduct new employee orientation sessions
  • Ensure all onboarding documentation is completed and filed appropriately
  • Utilize existing benefits guides and resource materials to respond to employee benefits inquiries
  • Direct employees to appropriate benefit resources and specialists when needed
  • Support employees with benefits enrollment and changes
  • Handle general employee relations matters and inquiries
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures
  • Address workplace concerns and conflicts as they arise
  • Maintain confidentiality in all employee-related matters
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
  • Support day-to-day HR operations and administrative tasks
  • Collaborate with leadership team on urgent HR matters

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience in a director or senior-level role
  • Strong experience with ADP payroll and HRIS systems (preferred)
  • Solid understanding of federal and state employment laws
  • Experience with employee relations and conflict resolution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions

Compensation up to $48/HR DOE
