Paralegal
JOB SUMMARY
Our client, a well-respected law firm in the Greater Boston Area, is seeking a Trust & Estate Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for a polished, detail-oriented professional who enjoys client interaction and thrives in a supportive, team-focused environment.
You’ll play a key role in keeping client matters organized, assisting with trust and estate processes, and ensuring excellent communication between attorneys and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and completing trust funding forms for filings
Managing incoming and outgoing mail, phone calls, and email inquiries
Filing documents and preparing cases for electronic filings (completed by attorneys)
Maintaining and updating an Excel case management spreadsheet
Acting as a client point of contact – providing updates, answering questions, and explaining processes with professionalism and empathy
Supporting attorneys with various administrative and case-related tasks
Qualifications
Experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or in Accounting/Billing (trust & estate planning experience strongly preferred, but not required)
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Polished, professional, and empathetic client communication skills
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel required); experience with Legal Files or Juris is a plus
Willingness to learn trust and estate planning processes
